Our Outcomes/Goals
The KVRI Grizzly Bear Subcommittee is dedicated to protecting and conserving grizzly bears and their habitats. We focus on understanding the bears' unique habitat needs, enabling us to effectively safeguard and restore critical areas for their survival. We collaborate closely with various agencies to ensure well-coordinated efforts and efficient use of resources for the management and recovery of grizzly bear populations.
Our subcommittee also emphasizes the importance of community involvement. By identifying opportunities for flexible recovery strategies and encouraging public participation in conservation projects, KVRI fosters a sense of shared responsibility and stewardship for grizzly bear conservation.
Education and outreach are key components of our mission. We actively seek and respond to opportunities to raise awareness and understanding of grizzly bear ecology. Through engaging educational programs and initiatives, we promote coexistence and conflict reduction strategies between grizzly bears and human communities.
Join us in our mission to protect and conserve grizzly bears and their habitats for future generations. Together, we can make a difference!
