Burbot Restoration in the Kootenai Basin:  Using Agency, Tribal and Community Collaboration to Develop and Implement a Conservation Strategy

This pilot project developed, implemented and evaluated an innovative recovery strategy for the lower Kootenai river Burbot

Successful propagation and restoration efforts resulted in Burbot Fishing on the Kootenai River open to anglers as of January, 2019!
